Day 01: Chandigarh – Shimla

Your tour will start upon your arrival in Chandigarh. Our tour representative will meet you at Chandigarh Airport or railway station and pick you up from there. Board the car and embark on the journey to Shimla from Chandigarh. Enjoy the road trip and witness the enchanting beauty en route. Shimla is fondly known as ‘Queen of Hills’ and is one of the popular hill stations of India. The erstwhile summer capital of British India, Shimla is covered with lush greenery all around.

Upon your arrival in Shimla, you will have an assisted transfer to the hotel. Complete the check-in formalities and unwind. The rest of the day is at your leisure. You can relax in your rooms or take a stroll to Mall Road and enjoy your evening there while witnessing the stunning sunset.

Later, return to the hotel and savor scrumptious meals. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 02: Shimla Local Sightseeing

Greet the beautiful day with a hearty meal. Post breakfast, you will proceed for the local sightseeing tour of Shimla. You will visit Jakhu Temple, which houses the world’s largest statue of Lord Hanuman. You can see the statue from anywhere in Shimla. Situated at the Jakhu Hill at the altitude of 2,455 m above sea level. Jakhu Temple holds a significant place in Hindu mythology. Seek blessings from Lord Hanuman and head towards Christ Church, which is located at the Mall Road. This church is the second oldest church in North India. This is an architectural marvel and the interior of the church is very appealing. The neo-gothic architecture is very beautiful and unique, which makes this church one of the most prominent attractions in Shimla.

Later, you will visit the Himachal State Museum located on Mall Road. The museum houses some of the unique items like ancient coins, paintings, and other handicraft items, the aesthetics of which are influenced by the Pahari form of art. And lastly, you will visit Scandal Point, which is also located on Mall Road. This beautiful place owes its interesting name to the fact that the King of Patiala abducted the daughter of the Viceroy here. You can witness the enchanting beauty of Shimla from here and spend some time with your loved one amidst serene environs.

Day 03: Shimla - Chandigarh Departure

This is the last day of the Shimla trip. Enjoy the breakfast at the hotel and complete the check out formalities. Later, head towards Chandigarh and on arrival, you will have an assisted transfer to the Chandigarh airport or railway station for your onward journey.
