Itinerary Details
Day 01:- Srinagar International Airport & 14 Kms Drive to City Centre Altitude 1730 Mtrs.

Arrival at Srinagar airport our RIE representative will meet & Greet you and transfer to Houseboat/Hotel in Srinagar, Afternoon tour of Mughal Gardens Visits the Heritages Places, Cheshma Shahi, Pari Mahal, Nishat Bagh & Shalimar Bagh, Evening Lake rides by Shikara (Small Cruise Boat) to visit Floating Gardens, Lotus Gardens inside of the Dal Lake, dinner & overnight stay at Deluxe Luxury Houseboat/Hotel
Day 02:- Srinagar – Sonamarg – Kargil (205 Kms. 7-8 Hours drive Altitude 2740 Mtrs.)
After breakfast leave from Srinagar Towards to kargil Via Sonamarg (Meadows of Gold), Sonamarg lies at the head of the Sindh valley. The drive through here presents a spectacular facet of the countryside; Sonamarg is the beginning of the enchanted journey into a natural wonderland, Surrounded by pine forest mountains upto 5300 meters high the valley is divided by a spur of the “Thajiwas Range Mountains” one can have a pony ride to visit Thajiwas Glacier where snow remains round the year the major attraction at Sonamarg in summer months, Sonamarg is known as Gateway of Leh – Ladakh, and continue drive towards Kargil you start steep ascending most rough road and wet Zojila pass (Altitude 3527 Mtrs) known as (Gateway of Ladakh) continue drive towards Drass second coldest place in the world here we stop for tea and passport/Aahdhar check. Another two and half hours drive will take us Kargil Check in Hotel for overnight stay.
Day 03:- Kargil – Lamayura – Leh (265 Kms 8-9 Hours Drive Altitude 3505 Mtrs)
Morning after breakfast Leave from Kargil towards to Leh by Surface, En-route visit Lamayura Gompa : Details: – Lamayuru is the oldest religious centre of Ladakh situated on or near the Indus and is believed to have been the sacred site for the pre-Buddhist religion known as Bon Built in the 10th century, the monastery is spectacularly located on an eroded mass of rock below towering mountains The Monastery here beats all others in sheer grandeur and in its uniqueness of wood carving, & continue drive towards Leh by Surface, visit a Places

Day 04:- Local Monasteries Tour
Shey Palace, (Details: – Situated 15 kms south of Leh towards Thiksey, the ruins of this former summer palace of the kings of Ladakh is perched high up on a rocky cliff. The 12 m Sakyamuni Buddha statue made of gold-plated copper by King Singge Namgyal’s son Deldan Namgyal, is the largest in the area.)
Thiksey Monasteries, (Details: – Located about 17 kms south of Leh, this monastery of characteristic beauty is probably the most photographed, and also the best place around Leh to see a puja. It is a magnificent complex with its red and yellow main building rising grandly above the numerous monk cells.) Hemis Monasteries, (Details: – Hemis monastery is one of the most famous and largest of all monasteries in Ladakh, 45 Kms south of Leh founded in 17th century belongs to the Drukpa order. the monastery was founded by Stagsang Raschegn who was invited to Ladakh by king Singee Namgyal.) late evening return back from sightseeing to leh Check Inn Hotel Overnight stay
Day 05: Leh – Khardungla Pass 18380 Ft. Nubra Valley and Hundur Sand Dunes – Drive 120 Kms 4/5hrs
After Breakfast drive to Nubra Valley via Khardungla Top (Highest Motorable road in the World, 18,380 ft) Arrive at Hundur by Afternoon. Rest of the day, Post lunch free to explore Deskit, Hunder Villages and camel Safari in Sand Dunes between Deskit and Hunder Village, Overnight stay at the camp
Early Morning after breakfast we leave for Pangong Lake through Changla pass 5486 Mtrs. via Wari La/Shyok Route Pangong Lake, situated at 14,000 feet (4,267 m). A long narrow basin of inland drainage, hardly six to seven kilometre at its widest point and over 130km long, it is bisected by the international border between India and China. A few years back the government decided to open it to tourists though the lake and its surrounding is under army surveillance. Enjoy the landscape in the back drop of the Lake. One rarely feels so close to nature and environment and the scenery is unforgettable, overnight stay at the camp
Day 07: – Pangong Lake – Leh – 150 Kms 5 Hrs Drive
After Breakfast drive back to Leh. Later Walk around Leh Market, Overnight stay at Hotel.
Day 08: – Depart Leh – Kushok Bakula Airport
Morning after breakfast, transfer to airport board your flight towards Destination Covered, to enjoy yet again, a beautiful flight over the great Himalayas
